Overview
In an IELTS Writing Task 2 Discussion Essay, you are given two opposing views (two different opinions or arguments) about a specific issue. Your job is to:
- Discuss both views: Explain each opinion clearly and show why some people believe in them.
- Share your own opinion: After explaining both sides, you should say what you think and explain why you agree with one side or partly with both.

⭐️ Important Tips :
- You must discuss both views equally — one view per paragraph, and give your own opinion.
- Do not mix views — keep one paragraph for each side.
- State your opinion clearly in the introduction and conclusion.
- You must explain both sides clearly and fairly, even if you disagree with one.
- Use formal and neutral language when discussing each view (even if you disagree with it) — don’t sound too emotional or biased.
- Use linking words to show contrast and balance: like On one hand, On the other hand, However, In my opinion, In conclusion .
- Support each views with clear explanations and real-life examples.
- Manage Time — Spend about 40 minutes — 5 for planning, 30 for writing, 5 for checking.
- Write about 270–290 words for a complete, detailed essay.
