Overview
In the Flow Chart Completion (with Choices) task you will complete a diagram that shows a sequence of steps or a process. You will be given a list of options (A, B, C, etc.), and you must choose the correct option for each blank in the chart based on what you hear in the recording.
This task often appears in Section 2 or Section 3 of the test and focuses on your ability to follow descriptions of procedures or processes.

You will see a flow chart showing steps in a process or sequence.
Options (choices) are given, usually as a list (A, B, C, etc.).
You must choose the correct option to complete each gap in the flow chart.

Preview the chart — Look at the structure and see how the process flows.
Check the options first — Know what you're choosing from before the recording begins.
Pay attention to transition words — Like first, then, after that, finally—these show movement in the process.
Look out for paraphrasing — The options might not be said word-for-word in the audio. For example: Option: *By email* In audio: They’ll send you the response electronically.
Write only the correct letter (A, B, C, etc.)
Do not write the full phrase unless instructed.
