Flow Chart Completion WC

Complete a flow chart by selecting correct words from given options based on the passage.

Overview

In the Reading Flow Chart Completion (With Choices) task, you are given a flow chart that shows a process or sequence, with some steps missing.

Your job is to choose the correct words or phrases from a list of options to complete the chart based on the reading passage.

To do this effectively, start by understanding the flow chart’s structure and reading the title to know what process is being described. Then, read the answer choices first so you know what to look for. Skim the passage to find where the steps are explained, and match information based on meaning, not just similar words.

  • You cannot write your own words—you must select from the given list only.
  • You should not repeat the same option for multiple blanks, unless the instructions tell you it’s allowed
  • The information in the flow chart usually appears in the same order as the passage, helping you follow the process.
